Our Center
We know that therapy sessions can be difficult both from a scheduling and financial perspective. That is why we offer a tremendous amount of flexibility with our therapy services and payment options. We will work with your insurance and we accept payments through most major credit cards. We will also work with you on a payment plan that fits best within your budget. We offer our services throughout the greater Houston area. We can arrange therapy at all hours of the day either in-home, at our therapy clinic, and even at your son or daughter's private school.

What is a Speech Pathologist?
A speech-language pathologist (or therapist) works with people who cannot make speech sounds, or who are unable to make them clearly (articulation); people with speech rhythm or fluency difficulties (stuttering); people with voice quality difficulties (vocal nodules); people with problems understanding and producing language; ones with cognitive impairments, such as attention, memory or problem solving; people with oral motor difficulties, apraxia, and swallowing disorders. We are also able to help people with reading and writing problems.

What causes communication disorders?
Communication difficulties can result from a variety of problems and can be congenital, developmental, or acquired. Speech and language problems can be the product of a variety of factors including: hearing loss, chronic ear infections, learning disabilities, brain injury, cerebral palsy, stroke, cleft palate, vocal pathology, mental retardation, or oral motor weakness/incoordination.

What is Occupational Therapy?
It is a health care service provided to people whose lives have been disrupted by physical injury or illness, problems in development, the aging process, and/or social or emotional problems. Occupational Therapy is often the first step toward learning a new skill, gaining greater freedom and mobility, living independently, and achieving greater emotional security. Occupational therapy can restore people’s confidence, usefulness, happiness, and economic independence after a serious injury or illness. It can assist disabled children as they learn to become independent, well-adjusted adults.

What is Pediatric Physical Therapy?
Pediatric physical therapy enhances the stimuli and learning process normally provided to a child through normal play and exploration.  It helps a child with special needs strengthen muscles, improve balance and coordination, adapt to special handicap devices, and also assists with gait training.

A pediatric physical therapist will treat a wide range of dysfunctional movements for children with special needs.
